Bob Bruns’ official title is co-owner/administrator/Bob can fix it. Around here we just call him the “wine guru”. Back when Bob was in the Air Force (from 1965 to 1969), his commanding officers did not allow him to drink due to the highly classified nature of his work. Since leaving military service, Bob now only accepts positions where “evaluating” US wine during work hours is an integral part of the job description. Bob is also the majority stockholder of JIB International, a freight forwarding company that Bob founded in 1976. Bob has shipped both container loads and single cases of wine to every corner of the earth for some of the smallest and largest US wineries on the planet. Bob is a recognized expert in the field of exporting US products and international logistics. Bob’s expertise is in finding innovative and cost-saving ways to manage the shipping of highly perishable inventory around the world. He currently teaches for the California Centers for International Trade Development and has helped colleges develop their own international programs in the past. Bob has been shipping US wine to US diplomatic posts for over twenty years.

Todd Bruns

Following in the footsteps of his father, co-owner and global logistics manager Todd Bruns has been in the wine consolidation and international shipping business for over ten years. Todd is beyond passionate about finding the most efficient and cost effective way to ship US wine to our US diplomatic post throughout the world. Embassy Wine Distributors, LLC. never profits from the shipping portion of the transaction, as that goes against our corporate ethos.

Todd\’s other hobbies include bowling and off-road racing. He has bowled a perfect 300 over 30 times, and loves to coach others on how to do the same. Todd’s favorite wine is a 2010 Diet Coke, which is one more reason we keep his father Bob on the payroll.
